As designers and product owners, we effect the lives of billions of people around the world.

In today’s “attention economy” products are often designed to grab and hold onto human attention. The sole aim is to increase profit. There is little to no regard for societal impacts. Tristan Harris addressed this topic in a call for Humane Technology.

Our work as designers and product owners effects the world in ways that are profound. So what is our preferred situation for our world? What is your preferred situation for your life’s work? What is the legacy you want to leave behind? What is your purpose?
